Tennis

The Rainbow team are very lucky this term as part of our physical education programme we are learning how to play tennis. Room 15 are doing this every Thursday morning and today was our first session.

Today we learnt

  • about all the different parts of the racket (handle, frame, strings) 
  • how to hold our tennis racket properly
  • how to balance our ball on our racket
  • how to hit the ball correctly to our partners.

    It looks like you are all listening really carefully to the instructions Room 15. Maybe we will see some champion tennis players from Tawa school one day in the future.
